Day of Giving
Case Western Reserve University’s Day of Giving is a chance for alumni, faculty, students and friends to give back to the campus causes that are most meaningful to them.
From student scholarships and emergency funds to groundbreaking research and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, groups across campus are working to improve myriad aspects of the Case Western Reserve experience.
This campuswide campaign allows individuals to support the school, institute or program about which they are most passionate.
Anyone can get involved by:
- making a one-time gift to Case Western Reserve University,
- committing to monthly support, or
- spreading the word through social media.
2,816 members of the university community made gifts for Day of Giving in 2024. Their donations to a variety of campus causes came to $1,828,159.
Support #GivingTuesdayatCWRU
GivingTuesday is a global movement recognized the week following Thanksgiving to encourage generosity and “unleash the power of people.” At Case Western Reserve University, it’s a chance for students, faculty, alumni and friends to make a difference on campus and beyond by supporting student-led organizations and causes.
In 2023, 444 people participated, giving $90,732 to 90 student groups with various missions and activities.
